OKAY Crazy aunt who has a Facebook account with a name I never recognize take 2.
I went to school for criminal justice and toyed with the idea of law school specifically for maritime law. I can’t imagine how many times I’ve expressed this.
When my uncle died recently, I stuck around at his brothers house (who is married to this crazy aunt) for a bit after the funeral. She brought up how I should go into the PA State Police Academy. Why? Simply because I thought about law school and like to talk about policy.
Notice her logic, I like law, therefore I can enforce it the same as a police officer as I would a lawyer. What? No! It’s not even like she is suggesting I join the Sea Police Academy. Maybe then it would make sense, if it existed.
